The Project

True Environmental provided permitting and licensing for the proposed Coffee Mine located on the Traditional Territories of Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in, Selkirk First Nation, First Nation of Na-cho Nyäk Dun, and asserted territory of White River First Nation in Yukon Territory. This expertise includes coordinating the licensing scope for the Project, providing regulatory guidance, managing the collaboration of a large technical team, and providing support for external engagement with First Nations and regulators.

Since 2021, True Environmental has worked closely with Newmont on the development of regulatory applications and associated information Requests. True Environmental has also coordinated the updates of various management plans as well as the Reclamation and Closure Plan for regulatory submissions, which have included Type A and Type B Water Use License applications, the Quartz Mining License application, and various land permit applications. True Environmental is continuing to work with Newmont throughout the regulatory approvals process for the Coffee Mine Project.
