NYC H&H Neponsit Hospital Investigation

True was providing civil engineering, survey, hazardous materials consulting, environmental engineering, and permitting services as a subconsultant for the abandoned NYC Health & Hospitals Neponsit Hospital project in the Rockaways. This project included the demolition and removal of several large and physically distressed buildings dating back to 1915, located in a Coastal Erosion Hazard and Special Hazard Area. NYC Parks took ownership of the Neponsit site once all structures were demolished.

True has begun the construction phase for the Neponsit Hospital project for NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation. The team will soon begin environmental construction support and hazardous materials support, including on-site monitoring. True will also ensure compliance with the environmental requirements of the project specifications, abatement support services, a project monitoring and air sampling program, and a closeout report.
