Environmental oversight for a large-scale 17,000-acre seismic exploration initiative.
The Project
This project in Sam Houston National Forest near New Waverly, Texas involved environmental oversight for a large-scale 17,000-acre seismic exploration initiative. Our team managed 645 source locations and 2,859 receiver stations, conducted thorough biological evaluations and monitoring, and performed a cultural resources survey to ensure preservation compliance. We also secured necessary wetland permitting, coordinated under NEPA, and obtained USFS surface use permits, ensuring the project met all federal and state environmental requirements while supporting responsible energy development.
