Natural Resources Damages Assessment for Contaminated Sites in NJ
The Project
Dr. Mark Laska has been retained as an expert witness for multiple claims against Chevron, ExxonMobil, BP and dozens of other companies for coastal land loss in Louisiana. The Louisiana Coastal Master Plan states there is at least $50B worth of habitat restoration projects in coastal Louisiana. There are at least 42 cases, the most recent of which, Plaquemines Parish v Rozel Operating Company, resulted in a trial and decision. This decision is currently being appealed to the United States Supreme Court.
