The Project
True Environmental worked with the City of Hampton to prepare its Chesapeake Bay TMDL Action Plan for submittal to DEQ. The team calculated the Cityâs existing pollutant loads for total nitrogen, total phosphorus and total suspended solids for both the James River and York River watersheds within the City and helped the City identify BMP retrofit projects to meet the Cityâs first and second permit cycle nutrient reductions for both watersheds. The City’s action plan was approved by VA DEQ without comment.
