True Environmental originally served as the lead contractor supporting the Owner in all aspects of site management, reclamation, and remediation for this complex site.

As the Owner’s on-site contractor, True Environmental provided comprehensive services including scientific investigation, engineering design, remedy implementation, and operational management. The project involved active participation from multiple regulators, agencies, and community groups. True Environmental evaluated various groundwater remediation options through pilot testing of both in-situ and ex-situ technologies, which were formalized in the Site Feasibility Study (FS) upon completion of the Remedial Investigation (RI). Additionally, True Environmental identified opportunities to streamline routine compliance monitoring activities to enhance worker and public safety while improving operational efficiency. As the site transitioned oversight from a private owner to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, True Environmental has continued to support the site’s remediation goals with on-going site operational maintenance and environmental compliance monitoring.
